Pill problems

Hey all

Have been on mercillon for about 4 years now, and prior to that was on mycrogynon for 1 and a bit.

However, for the last 3 packets I have been getting a period in the pack, not spot bleeding but a proper period for 2-3 days. It's normally near the end of the pack.
I don't run packs together anymore.
Saw the nurse who said it's likely that my body has stopped responding to the mercillon. (Seeing the Doc in the week to get checked out)

Has anyone else has anything like this?
I had never heard of this before I saw the nurse.

theres a drug you can get to stop the bleeding once it starts. I just got it yesterday, though i forget what its called its somethign liek progesterol..anyway its got somethign to do with levels of progesterone etc, will stop the period so you can continue with your course of medication.

I'm not on medication. My body has basically stopped responding properly to the pill

which is why you shoudl find out about this one. Periods are caused by a drop in progesterone levels, taking i think its called progestol increases the amount of progestarone in your system, alas stoipping the period and then you can take the pill and see if it works form there.
