Ive just recently lost my virginity to my boyfriend, and the only position we ever do is him on top. I said to him are you happy with this, am i alright etc he said yes, but was just wondering what lads normally prefer?Im happy with this as long as he really is!

Personal preferences vary considerably...and this isnt really the place to do a survey on it.

Almost all the guys i know (and trust me i know a lot of guys) prefer girl on top, but not everyone is the same, their may be a few exceptions and maybe you have one of them. If it bothers you ask him to try some other positions.

I don't know whether it was your boyfriend's first time as well, but since as a couple you are relatively new to sex there is no rush to find better positions. It's true that men often prefer the girl on top, but there are tons of other ways to do it which are even better (in my opinion). Try changing position after a while of missionary, and see how you both react to it. Keep moving around and you are bound to find things that are good.
