Meaningful Christmas Present

Anon as my bf uses this and don't want to give anything away!

So I'm thinking about Christmas already. The truth is that, for many reasons, my boyfriend and I will split when we both go off to uni in September. However, he's also my best friend, and I want to give him something meaningful that he can have as a reminder that I will always be there as his friend, even if I'm not his girlfriend.

I would usually think of a watch, as you could engrave the back and it's useful in everyday like so he'd use it... but he already got one for his birthday from someone else. He's not really a jewellery man otherwise I'd get him a bracelet or something, but he wouldn't wear it.

Any ideas? Men, what would you be touched to receive if you were in this situation?
Seriously the best gives.....money cant buy ;-) Sort him out with a good BJ ;-)
