It's ok, but you're better off getting a syllabus specific revision guide

I tried it for the mocks and it didn't work

It's ok, but don't use it as your main source of revision because it doesn't go into enough depth or detail - better to use it alongside other things. It's a good break from textbook revision though.

Depends how your mind works.
Its ok for quick testing but yes, the revision guides are always much better and in much more detail

I feel the quality is poor, but our school is obsessed with it. Don't use it myself.

You shouldnt just rely on samlearning, ive used it for science and thats about it, and yes it has helped me to a certain extent as it breaks the normal routine of hitting the books for hours,
get subject specific revison guides/CD's
My school promoted it also but I thought it was crap.
I think its quite good. But i find it better if you use the next level to revise.

i used it to test myself ocasionally when i cba to do past papers

Echoing others, the school thinks its great but really its pretty pathetic - the only useful things are the exam papers, and even then they arent syllabus specific so it takes ages pruning out the questions you dont need to answer.

I pretty much say the same... dont just depend on it or else you might just be shocked at your results!
I think the test papers you can print off are useful, but i thought the other stuff on the website was way too easy, and I could quite often fill in the gaps without knowing the subject, or even reading the rest of the writing. It can be useful, but I think revisions guides are generally better, especially if they are specific to your exam board.

My school was also completely obsessed with it. I think it was a waste of their money to be honest!

Sam Learning is not the best revision site. Its good to test yourself, to see if you understood the work but you cannot revise properly from that site.

What is Sam Learning. Please explain?
Sam learning is a revision website which some schools subscribe to- its very expensive ( can be over £8000 i think) and it has sections of subjects for gcse ect.

The revising bits are rubbish. THe exam style things are good though

I found it helpful for revision in science - however, it was never a substitute for looking at some past papers with a syllabus-specific revision guide.
