I'm not a current student, but do have an offer to study medicine at UCL next year and the main reasons I chose UCL were:

The fact its in London
Dissection to teach anatomy
iBSc year
More traditional in terms of teaching e.g. lectures, seminars etc
General positive feeling from open day
Prestigious university which is ranked well nationally and globally
