Okay, for obvious reasons Im not going to say where it is I work, only that it is a large clothing retailer based mainly in england...
Basically, one of my managers was going round asking if people wanted overtime throughout the week, I saw her asking four lasses if they wanted 5-9 shifts, they all declined the offer, I then asked her if I could cover those shifts because I reeeally need the money, she said 'no, Ill come to you as a last resort' and walked off laughing as she saw the confused and slightly pissed off look on my face...
Surely, that cant be acceptable, whether she asked other lads I dont know, but seriously, gotta be some form of favoritism or sexism in there, which is illegal as far as Im aware...
Defo gonna ask my supervisors about this, or HR, either way Im really annoyed with this
Can someone back me up on this?
