This may seem a little confusing but stay with me for a sec....
Basically I'm a first year student at an English University and I'm looking at private accommodation for next year. I found a house with my mates and we all paid our deposits and we have a contract with all our names on (Although it has yet to be signed)
But......the lead tennant (spokes-person) has now decided he doesnt want to live with us and has basically told us to get out of 'his' house, however, we're not sure if he has the right to do that? If we want to stay and our names on the contract, is he able to tell the landlord to write us out? Or do we have some sort of rights?
Hopefully if your still following I would appreciate some clarification on this
    Thanks in advance

Technically, none of you have the right to kick anyone else out, as you haven't even signed the contract yet. As all your names are on the as yet unsigned contract, you are all of equal standing at this moment, although until you all sign the contract you have no legal rights.
