Ok its been around 2 months since I had a hair cut. Im trying to grow it out but as its become longer more hairs fall out and I have to wash it every day and use a styling product to keep it in good shape. Every night after I wake up my hair tends to go all bushy type but as soon as a shower with shampoo/conditioner it is very soft and managable.

I read in another forum that you should cut your hair every 6 months regardless if your growing it out or not.
Well if thats the case what do I get for my sides and back as I want to grow my back also?
I grew mine out for 8 maybe 9 months, It looked amazing but it was too hard to maintain.

You should stop going to a barber shop and go to somewhere more...pr0. Then just tell them you want to grow it and they'll probably thin it out so it sits down nicer and you won't have to use hair products as often.

I never use hair products...(haor is halfway down my back)...people always say that not having your hair cut is nasty:confused:never understood that.

Long hair does seem to need more washing though, and is hot in sun, and war, in snow

I don't like long hair on guys either but I suppose it's a must if you're an Indian or a metal, err, fan.
You got your facts wrong... Its not a must for Indians to have long hair... I am an Indian and don't have long hair...
actually I am metal fan as well... and still don't have long hair!....

You are confusing Sikhs with Indians... (Its compulsory for them... but many don't follow this rule of their religion)
