    I've seen 2 laptops on ebuyer and am confused as to which specs are better overall.

    Option 1: -

    Fujitsu Lifebook AH531 Laptop
    Intel Core i3 Sandybridge 2330M 2.2GHz
    8GB RAM
    750GB HDD

    Price = £400

    Option 2: -
    Fujitsu Lifebook AH531 Laptop
    Intel Core i5 Sandybridge 2430M 2.4GHz
    4GB RAM
    320GB HDD

    This one also costs £400

    Which one would you recommend?

    Option one. More numbers are bigger. I think this is a good thing.

    But the second has an 5, which is bigger than 3, and it's in the processor name. And the clock speed is higher. That means it will perform wayyy better than the first one, which just has a larger HDD and a pointlessly high amount of RAM.

    Definitely the second one OP. It's great value for money.
