I was wondering if you come home and work quite early and rest later, or are you a person who comes home and relaxes until very late and then you get a bit more pressure to do the work due in the next day ?

So what do you do when you come home from school/ college in terms of A level work?

I used to do work as soon as I got home.
And then I just stopped doing work altogether (apart from coursework and physics homework in free periods).

I very rarely do work in the evenings if I finish college at 5- my brain is too dead. Tend to do most work in my free periods at college or on tuesday when i finish at 10.30!

My current routine (past 2 weeks): get home, go on computer until neighbours is on, then watch home and away (you can mock my tv watching later) eat dinner, then do homework. Though at the moment I'm slacking as I have nothing in for tomorrow :p:
I'm one of those people you will find in the library in the morning rushing to finish my work.

I do all my coursework and homework in my free periods so when I get home it's my time to relax and I usually just read through notes or reading around the subjects we've recently been studying. It's quite easy for me to do it in my free periods though because I got two late starts and two early finishes and i've grown good at forcing myself to stay and work rather than go home, because as soon as I get home I just become so de-motivated!

I normally just come home and relax after college. I have a 5 and a half hour break on Tuesdays , a 3 hour one on Thursdays and a day off on Wednesdays so mostly get college work done then.

I usually read the paper, go on the computer for a while, listen to some music, watch TV and have my dinner, then attempt to get some work done in the evening. I get home about 1.20 on Thursdays and Fridays though, so I should really use the time more constructively! I have 3 frees in the morning when I have to stay at school, but how much I actually get done depends on whether any of my friends have frees at the same time.

usually i just sit down and do it when i get in because im normally in the right frame of mind and in my suit which makes me more likely to work. if i go on the computer, read or start watchin t.v. i know i wont ever do it.

    Same here! Bad bad bad.

It's important to relax though, most homework is just pointless anyway.

I relax when I get in because I have quite long days so I'm always tired when I get in, and I find I work better later on.
