Where were all you guys for the 90s? (No offence!)
I do sometimes wonder the same thing. Sure, they weren't on the radio that often back then, but they were constantly on MTV.

I hate to admit it but i was the same. I only really started to love green day after american idiot. I used to love a few of their older songs e.g basket case, minority etc....but now i love their older stuff more than AI. I'm addicted to Dookie and Nimrod, all because of American Idiot

I walk this lonely road ; the only one that I have ever known ; don't know where it goes ; but it's only me and I walk alone ; I'm walking down the line ; that divides me somewhere in my mind ; on the borderline ; of the edge is where I walk alone

Love those lyrics. The bit in italics is my MSN screenname (sad I know...)

I never really liked that song.

Well, it's nothing special, but I like it. Fave song off of AI is Jesus of Suburbia, followed by BoBD, then St. Jimmy.

    What's everyone else's top 3 from AI?

You've never heard of Jesus of Suburbia? Good god...

    Listen to JoS

One of their best songs, and a fantastic rock opera.

"I'm the son of rage and love, the Jesus of Suburbia, the bible of, none of the above, on a steady diet of, soda pop and ritalin, no one ever died for my sins in hell, as far as I can tell, at least the ones I got away with"

Well, each to their own. Love it!

Wow, there are so many people who've got into them properly since American Idiot... and people who got into them in the 90s have disappeared off the face of the planet.

Don't have a suggestion or anything but I'm glad you put AI in that dictionary... I was looking at a few of the posts on here and thinking 'artificial intelligence?' even though it should be blatantly obvious in a Green Day thread that you'd be talking about American Idiot. :p:
