I'm just looking up what a pharmacy course entails, and I'm a little confused about what Pharmacology, toxicology, therapeutics, Physicochemical Principles of Pharmacy and Advanced Pharmaceutics are.

From what I've looked up pharmacology is how drugs work on the body, toxicology is the side effects of drugs on the body, therapeutics is how medicines work in the body. so i dont get the difference between therapeutics and pharmacology? Can anybody clear this up for me. Thank you.

Pharmacology is purely the study of the drug and what it does to the body (and what the body does to the drug, i.e. pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics)
Therapeutics is choices in what drug(s) to use in what condition/circumstance.

Pharmacy combines all of these and focuses on the clinical aspect, and counseling people on how to use medicine safely among other things.
