Is it OK to resume maths A-level during my Gap Year (want to study medicine)?

Currently I'm studying Bio, Chem, English lang & lit, and Spanish (which my tutor says may not count in my case since it's my native language).

I've obtained all As for AS in the above subjects but I also did maths for which I achieved a C.
I've dropped it but plan to pick it up again during my gap year as I have not applied to university this year.
I shall be resitting my AS S1 unit as well as A2 S2 next Jan, and then C3 and C4 next June.

When I apply through UCAS this summer will I have to enter the maths grade I predict myself as well as what I have at AS or does someone else have to predict it (if I'm taking it privately)?

Alaynaaaa!
Deffo there some A3s/external students doing resits at our college.
I don't know how you'll enter your maths a-level on UCAS either but I'm sure you can fit maths around your schedule next year.
