I's completley normal. it's just a shaving rash, the hairs ingrowing. It's not very nice really. i wish if i could go back that i never shaved down there, because the hairs get thicker and you need to do it more and more often.
You'll get used to it though. maybe try other methods of hair removal e.g creams as they don't leave rashes, though they aren't as effective of getting rid of short hairs. Waxing i'd say is a bit too painful, and really i think it is a bit dangerous to wax such a delicate area, though pleanty do it so it's down to individual preferences i suppose.

I've seen similar threads to this on this forum before, look back and see if you can find any

use johnson's baby oil gel. i shave everything off, i used to wax (have done so since i was 14) but then last year discovered i was allergic to wax so now i have to shave...use some baby oil gel on the area before you get into the shower, then use lots of shaving gel, shave it off, then when you get out of the shower put a bit more baby oil gel. it works a wonder, no shaving rash and makes it EVER so smooth.

Ha! I used immac once on my legs and had a rash for a week!
If you shave the outer parts of your bits (and not onto the "triangle" above) it's usually not as bad. Then you can use other methods for that bit like trimming and plucking and waxing.
as above, immac on the legs made me react so badly! much worse than shaving

Like i said it's different for different people. I suppose it also makes a difference what kind of hair you have, what clothes you wear, basically everythign about the area.
Can anyone find any other threads, i am sure i saw one once that had the title something like "itchy rash when i shave down there".
