Hey!
Could anyone please tell me which Hall is better? It's so hard to decide...
thx, pingu

Def HH but i'm bias as i live there.

HH simply becasue of location, location, location.

The fact that you can come back between 2 hour gaps in lectures or get up at 9.45 for a 10 am lecture has soo much benifits (it doesn't seem like much but trust me it is!!!) Especially, when you're going out the night before hand.

Also like to add that roseberry is highly over-rated on TSR for sum reason IMO. HH social life isn't great (not bad, but isn't great.) If you want social life go Bankside. But then that is a 30 min walk and as a result you see so many banksiders missin lectures (especially if they're inconvenient spaced out as they just cant be ****ed to wait on campus for 3 hours.) Even the most loyal banksider will admit there is a correlation between amount of lectures, etc attended and distance from uni!

Also like to add that HH is incredible for clubbin. It's 10 mins walk from literally all the clubs. You save a fortune on transport. 10 mins to picaddily, leicester square, soho, etc.

Is it true that you have leave Rosebery during Easter/Christmas break? And pack all your belongings with you as well?

If you don't pay for rent, then yes.
They provide storage for one piece of luggage if you're moving out.

Ahh, right. Thanks :yy:
I lived in Rosebery 2 years ago and quite liked it. It's a good area near Angel adn Islington where there's a good few pubs and clubs and a comfortable 15-20 mins walk from LSE, social life was poor in my year but I think that was an anomaly, it was apparently very good last year (maybe it was just me ha ha). I think it offers the right mix between peace and quiet and a decent social life.

In response to whoever said Rosebery is overrated on TSR, I think that's because we were told on our first day by the Hall President that Rosebery IS the best hall and Roseberians have always been very loyal to it, so I think that subconsciously made us quite tribal about it from the beginning! But seriously though, its a good hall!

High Holborn is the best, and I don't even live there. Straight Up.
i would prefer rosebury than high holborn. main factor for me is cost, and i feel that high holborn is just too much for me to handle.
