The Student Room Group

Well, as you are the only girl in the house, and they are all a lot older, it could be seen as though they are taking advantage of you. However, if you know them well enough to move in with them then they are probably nice guys, and your friends. If you get on well with them, don't worry about it. I myself am the only girl in a big group of guys, and people sometimes think its a bit strange, but I am more comfortable with boys than girls. I just read them a hell of a lot better!¬

Thanks for your response! I am the OP by the way. The thing is I don't actually know them. I met them once when I went to look at the flat a few days ago, and the two that I saw and chatted to seemed cool. Not sure about the third as I haven't seen him yet. I just don't know..I wouldn't want people to think I'm a naive idiot or anything :s

if i lived with only girls id want a guy to move in so could be the same with them wanting a girl to move in.

but you just gotta trust your instinct.

you should ask to meet the other person you didnt meet though.

I'm supposed to move in on Monday

I'm probably just being silly, you can't judge everyone by the same book, right?

It "could" be a bad idea. In my house there's 4 guys and 1 girl; it's not a problem but she's not a typical "girly girl" anyway. But it could work out.

I am very girly, though it depends on my mood and the weather basically!

I guess all I can do is hope for the best. Has anyone else been in this situation? How did it work out?
