blokes and hair

l know this is so girly of me but l'm worried about the state of my barnet -yes, its long. lts just endless amounts keep falling out whenever its touched, and trying to get knots out always ends up in breakages. At home l require assistance bathing and dad always makes a crack about me going bald, we laugh, but then l look in the mirror and towards the back of the parting and the scalp is alarmingly visible

is this normal??

and yes, l do condition

course.

Why don't you just cut it, what's the point in having long hair when it just all falls out?

When you have long hair, it will seem to fall out more frequently and it will be easier to break. Cutting it shorter will reduce the chances of breakages and knotting.

So basically, I agree with the above comment, there is no point having long hair if it's falling out. Also, I've heard that worry and anxiety can cause your hair to fall out. So if you're worried that your hair will fall out, then it probably will.

Cut it.

So that's my advice - talk to your doctor about it! He'll probably take blood tests to see if you're eating enough iron.
Considering you are from Ireland especially, l am DISGUSTED to hear you tell me a lack of iron is something to go to the doctor about!!!!!!!

Just drink loadsa GUINESS

On a serious note l am careful to drink a good deal of milk

Does milk contain much iron? I don't know how good milk is for your hair. Foods rich in iron include spinach and broccoli. Also eat lots of oily fish like mackrel and sardines. I believe they contain elements that are good for your hair.

Might just be pre-mature balding. Sucks, but there it is. Talk to a doctor about it if you're really worried.

When my hair was quite long, about 9 inches at the front, it seemed a lot thinner at the top. Once I had it cut that soon changed, now it's a bush. Seriously, CUT IT.
