yes but better not to. get it done professionally so you don't get it infected and they'll have to take drastic measures...

not exactly but yes  so get it done by a professional. go to accessorize or claire's accessories they do it for guys and girls!
my girfriend has peirced her ears 3 times and they seem to be ok, she used a silver earing because silver is antibacterial and this allows the peircing to be sterile, but she has had her other peircings done properly, i wouldn't suggest doing them yourself, but its possible to do it with as little pain as it being done properly but i would say don't do it yourslef.
Its possible, but you're so much better off seeing a professional!

*also less painful!!
no i dont mean gona kill you literally i meant gona hurt a lot lol

Bad advice! Dermal punches, yuck  Better off self-piercing than going to one of those places.

Just go to a proper piercing place with surgical needles, visit a few times and speak to customers and find out if the place is any good or ideally if you had any friends that have any piercings and can recommend places to go to.

Why do you have to be Anonymous to ask about piercing?

You're all gonna flame me, but I would say self piercing with a needle sterilised in a flame and an apple is better than going to Claire's.

However, due to the position of your eye and ear you can't really see what you're doing, so it's best to go to a professional.

GO TO A PROFESSIONAL PLACE! If you self-pierce, it's just gonna turn out bad for you. It only cost me £8 today to have one ear pierced, so it won't break the bank. And they can give you proper advice on how to keep it clean.

Although you did say "it's best to go to a professional", your tone of language in the first sentence is encouraging self-piercing.

OK, fine. I retract my earlier comments and if I could, the rep I gave you. Not that it's worth anything anyway!

do NOT go to Claire's!

horrible place and that gun they use is terrible.

your local tattoo parlour will generally do piercings - I've got all mine done at one and had no problems.

I really wouldn't advise self piercing
a) because you'd have to be extremely brave to do that to yourself
b) it's likely to bleed and be horrible
c) more likely to get infected
d) you'll less likely to get it just where you want it because problems with seeing it.

go to a professional - it's not even that expensive really, but is a much better idea.

Oh, and by "claire's" I mean "Claire's accessories" but also any jewellers and other similar places that use guns and not very trained staff.
