Anyone working over Christmas?

I am working over Christmas and I wondered who else was lucky enough to be in the same boat?

I'm working nights:

22nd, 23rd, 24th

Days:
26th, 27th

Nights:
31st, 1st

Working every day between the 15th and the 31st other than Christmas day and the 20th. Bit annoying as my job is about 2 and a half hours away from my family home, so I'm just getting a lift back to my parents on Christmas eve after my shift, then getting a lift back to work on boxing day morning :frown:

It is so sad to work during Christmas and New Year. At-least you could spend the nights at the party.

I'm only working 4 days in the week before Christmas, but it's 9am-7pm dressed as an elf. Not sure what possessed me to agree to it :p:

Lots of restaurants are open aren't they? For people who don't want to cook their own Christmas dinner :colonhash:

I'm working Christmas eve AND day. And either NYE or day, I forget which.

I plan to help myself to quite a few pints (I work in a bar/pub) as means of compensation.

Yes, don't know my actual hours yet, but for a fact I'll be on 27th, 28th and 31st and 1st. Mosy likely the 23rd as well. No time and a half either, so those that try to trump me with more hours can gtfo as I'll be workin new year eve/day for min wage. BOOOOOOOOM

Were do you work?
Luckily Christmas eve is my normal day off but I'm working boxing day and all the rest. You never know, I may be offered overtime that I can't turn down for Christmas eve.

I'm possibly volunteering in the morning for Christmas eve, it's dependant on if they're actually going to open or not. Aside from that though I won't be doing anything on the Christmas/New Years days, they've already been booked up so i'm safe.
