Hitler did everything in the name of Christianity.... was he labelled the same? You get a couple of nut cases who say they are Muslim and do these atrocities in the name of Islam but they are far from Muslim. What about Zinoist Terrorism in Palestine on a daily basis....

Usual case of racism I see...

No, Hitler attempted to conserve the "purity" of a race (besides he hated Christianity as he saw it as being weak, with all its talk of brotherhood etc).

As for the Zionism thing, read a history book or get your news from somewhere apart from the Guardian or Al Jazeera.

So, apparently the attacker was just one guy, and he was supposed to be doing jail-time right now, for illegally owning a load of weaponry, and growing a pretty huge amount of pot. (2800 plants strikes me as 'a lot'). He was out of jail on probation when he did this.

Personally I'm more inclined to believe this guy was 'just' a complete criminal ass rather than the defender of some ideology or religion.

Not hitherto known for acts of terrorism so seems unlikely. How about the Croydon Women's Institute?

Was just throwing out guesses, calm down, figured it could be some wannabe VMO [who were known for attacks during the 70's and 80's - whether they constitute 'terrorism' - I don't know] militants or whatever.

We are a people of different faiths, but we are one. Which faith conquers the other is not the question; rather, the question is whether Christianity stands or falls.... We tolerate no one in our ranks who attacks the ideas of Christianity... in fact our movement is Christian. We are filled with a desire for Catholics and Protestants to discover one another in the deep distress of our own people.

That was before he gained absolute power, after that the church was tolerated but Hitler pursued (with Himmler) a Nazi-styled religion. But yes before his absolute power he favoured the church.

Yeah and Mussolini was baptised (as an adult) even though he was an ardent atheist. Goebbels' propaganda fiercely promoted traditional family values, even though he himself had many affairs.

Hitler said what he needed to, to get the people onside, but privately he didn't like Christianity (also you should remember just how frequently his opinions changed).

If done by anyone it would labeled as a terrorist attack. The one blue eyed blonde hair guy in Norway who had no connection to Islam is often referred to as a terrorist.

Only if it has some form of political motivation behind it.
Seems like it was a lone gunman/ attacker
