red kidney bean overdose

If someone was to cook a can or two of red kidney beans and then eat them straight would anything bad happen? Like an overdose?

Thanks

(I'm hungry, it's too far to the shop and all I have is kidney beans).

Canned = safe
Dry = dangerous (until cooked)

you'll be doing some heroic farting later though

I found out they're poisonous if you don't cook them so I wondered if 2 cans would be poisonous even when cooked. :confused:
If you read the Mail, you'd know that red kidney beans give you cancer.

They contain toxins when uncooked (canned are cooked), but apparently there are only a handful of actual cases of people getting seriously ill from them and they probably ate mountains of them. Are you hoping to poison someone or what? I can't imagine you actually wanting to eat uncooked kidney beans.

No, suck it up and eat them you bloody pansy, they won't do you any harm.
I can't imagine anything worse than eating 2 cans of plain kidney beans though.
