Manchester dosn't have a subway (i,e the train kind). We have the metrolink which is a light rail system but it dosn't go underground it uses old railways and streets.

lol AT82 -- there are 2 definitions for the term "subway"
    1) Used often by Americans to describe the train system underground
    2) A fast food but healthy restaurant located everywhere around the globe practically that sells yummy food
    hehe

I know what Subway is, there is one on every street corner in Manchester just like Greggs and Star Bucks you cannot escape them

They are handy though when you need a bit of quick veg.

The trick with Subway is to KISS otherwise they become full of salt, sugar and god knows what.

It is a term used a lot in computing and design

The same applies to the art of a Subway, cut out all the sources, salt and other crap and they are fairly healthy.

Everyone in my family likes the idea of me going to Subway instead of the chippy for lunch as long as they think its healthy, so no-one tell them.

I can't say I've ever had a noticeably salty sub, but then I've never tried much in the way of sauces and such.
