Hi I have a question about my pay summary on the NEP. It says my basic pay, extra hours (14) but then saying unpaid hours -£33. Does anyone know why it says unpaid hours? I thought that was when you didn't work your contracted hours, but I'll be doing 2 extra shifts that week so don't understand what the unpaid hours means

Does anyone know why Next has changed my shift pattern? I have my induction tomorrow, but the last time I checked my rota it said I was doing 9-5 Monday and 10-6 Tuesday, (15 contracted hours) but I logged back on today and for my first week my shifts have all changed? I now have 9-5 Sunday and Thursday, and extra shifts of 7-10 and 6:30-12:30 on Boxing day. I'd rather not do these shifts to be honest - I didn't realise that was what I signed up for, and I don't need the money that much so I'd be happy to offer the work to someone who needs it more. I'm happy to work Boxing day etc, but AM to me means no earlier than an 8AM start. Is there any way for me to decline these shifts and offer them to someone else?

No one can decline shifts in Boxing Day however you MAY be able to get the time changed.
As for the rota change, query it with your manager.

Does anyone know what the abbreviation TW is on the shift marketplace? Also I have been trying to get my Xmas eve shift changed to an earlier one since my interview however it doesn't look like it is going to happen even though several people including managers have said its not a problem. My shift still shows as the one I can't do. Do I just phone in on the day to say I wont be in?

Hi, im having trouble using the learning portal. I work in delivery and im meant to complete training on the 3 way scan. Is it normal that i cant click on any topic, only the quiz at the bottom? Ive tried it on different browsers on my phone, tablet and computer, it just doesnt make sense to me that they wont give me any information before the quiz

That happened to me as well, for sales floor service. It should be under the How To tab.

There was an issue a few weeks ago with Portal, and I couldn't log in either. It should be fine now, though.

Hey I was looking at my shifts, and I clicked on one and clicked the "take whole shift as toa" and now that shift is showing that I'll be absent. Any ideas what this means?

You've taken time off for that particular shift, so it'll show you as being absent. You won't get paid for it, either.

It depends on where you work tbh. I've worked for three different branches, and the pay has been different each time. I've been at my current branch for approx a year, and my pay has increased three times. And I'm also 20 btw
