It depends on where you work tbh. I've worked for three different branches, and the pay has been different each time. I've been at my current branch for approx a year, and my pay has increased three times. And I'm also 20 btw

on the application it said between £5.80-£7.20 or something, depending on age obviously, so would I be in the middle somewhere?

I checked my shifts on the employee portal, and an upcoming shift is coming up as "offsite shift" - anyone know what that means?

Yea, that is weird when that happens. Not sure why. Once that happened me because it said "Offsite 0.15 hrs" rather than it saying "Break 15 mins." so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

anyone know how to change your availability so I don't have to do some days in the week?

If you're on your laptop/computer just click the green square and it should bring up (at most) three options: take time off, offer full shift and offer part shift. From there click the option you want and it'll detail what hours you'll be offering up and the pay deducted. If you're offering a shift up you'll have to wait for someone else to take it or you'll still have to work it, obviously.

Note that some shifts can't be offered as you have to work 50% of your contract a week (excluding holiday).

Then you probably can't offer the shift up for X reason. Have you tried clicking on any future shifts to see if you get the options on those? If you've got any worries just speak to your floor manager and they'll help you

It's probably because you haven't had your induction yet, I dunno.
When are you back? Give your store manager a ring and see if there's anything they can do.

How does changing temporary availability work? Can I remove myself from a single Saturday, for instance, even though my contract is Tuesday's and Saturday's? Really need the day off but my holiday request was declined :frown:
