It went great apart from the last question which I misread and then completely screwed up! :cry: Alot of other people seem to have as well so hopefully it won't affect my grade too much!

Maths C3... what an actual joke...!

the last question was like 12 marks and damn near ridiculous!!

In my exam hall one person was crying, one guy started smacking his head, one girl walked out and the entire exam hall was filled with miserable sighs and angry growls!

probably want the floor to open up and eat my pants-at-maths self right now!

Know exactly what you mean. That paper was awful, feel like I've messed up my whole future in an hour and a half :frown:

Don't worry about it. I remember everyone felt last year's AH last 12 marker was a bit iffy, after the exam I tried it again, took me 15mins to do. :s-smilie:

Didn't even get to the last question in the exam lol, spent too much time on an earlier question. :frown:

If it was as awful as it sounds then the grade boundaries are probably very low. Don't worry!

Can I just point out something that may infuriate or relax you all?

When everybody comes out of an easy paper all happy and smiles, they fail to realise that it was easy for everyone else who sat it, i.e. getting 99% doesn't count for much if everyone else gets 100%.

But, when the exam is hard, everyone immediately assumes it was only them who just demonstrated their lack knowledge in whatever subject.

Whoever says human are naturally inclined to be either a) logical or b) optimistic has clearly never reacted to their own performance in anything.

So basically, if you were going to get an A, you'll get one regardless of how easy/hard the particular paper was.

It was an awful question! Everyone at my college struggled with the last 2, so hopefully the grade boundaries will reflect that.


I got 2 marks out of 12 for the last question. :confused:
