    Yeah. I have a few friends from NZ & we were talking about that at school & she said that you can get your full licence at 17 or even earlier? That's way young!

    My brother is 22 and he's still on his green P's. My other brother is 18 and he's on his red P's. So if i get my L's...we'll have all of the different plates. :cool: not.

    P plate is for the provisional drivers, which comes after doing 50hrs of practice as an L plater.

    EDIT: I've just realised that we can only drive at 16. Oh well, my brother let me drive when i was 14 (just on secluded streets).

    It stands for provisional. They can drive alone because after a minimum of 50 hrs practice & passing the test they are capable enough.
