    Hi,

I've been on here for quite a while now & I noticed that most of the people choose to do their A levels through Edexcel, OCR or AQA. Why not cambridge? I hardly see anybody here who's with cambridge! Whats the catch?

We don't have a say in it, it is the school that chooses which exams to take

I find the chemistry OCR exmainations more straightforward than Nuffield. Nuffield physics/chem was a ***** at times.

Yo Hira...I think the Cambridge that you’re talking about is UCLES/CIE which is only an international board. Since most of the members here live in the UK, they take the 'local' boards (ie AQA, OCR etc..) that are not available for us internationals.
Edexcel is apparently the only board that provides exams for both international and local candidates.

My uncle works for UCLES - in fact, OCR & CIE are both part of UCLES: the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. OCR [Oxford, Cambridge & RSA] does their exams for the UK & CIE [Cambridhge International Exams] does their exams for all over the world - theyre very big in Singapore!
