sounds like one of those thigns that's meant to be romantic but...secretly freaks some people out.
i know a really old couple with a picture of them dancing on a mug at their anniversary and it lives in the local village hall so everyone has to use it. i'm sure it's intentions were good, but it sure freaks us all out.

I'd be more weirded out if they were holding some sickly "I wuv you bunny" sign up in the photo on the mug lol. I think a regular one would be kinda funny.

When my ex went overseas I gave him a mug with a photo of my baps on it as a reminder of me lol. He never complained about it...
