Runaway

ok so here is my prob, my best friend has been having or should i say causing arguments with her dad like nearlly every day, and veeryday it was about something different, she was meant to come on holiday with me but then was not allowed to come because of her arguing.

For a couple of months this has bin happening, and the other day her dad grounded her and hit her around the face. then during the night she ran away. i no where she is but i dont know what to do i tries to persuade her to come to mine but she wouldnt, because she thought i would tell her parents where she is which i wouldnt.

her parents are coming into the school today to talk about it with her teacher, and if she dont go home tonight they are gonna call social services. i dont know what will happen, she is my best friend and for some reason she dont trust me. she is living in a dream world she thinks she willl get a council house and everything.

What do i do, i dont want her to regret something for the rest of her life.

i think you need to tell someone where she is. she may be furious with you but you'd have done the right thing. anything could happen to her now and you'd feel terrible if you'd known where she was and hadn't told anyone. If you trust the school more, tell them where she is, her parents, your parents, a teacher, someone you trust. It'll be better in the long run.
