Offer conditions - help ?

I have an offer from a London uni that says:

This offer is subject to you obtaining,

By 31 August 2012 obtain grades AAB in three A-level subjects including [X],

plus a pass in a fourth AS-level subject

I wanna ask if I already have 1 A2 "A" from before in Year 10, does that count ? It doesn't say "one examination sitting" here!!

Does this mean I can work for only 2 subjects ?

Just ring them up - we can't see your letter so we're not really going to be able to help you that much.

yeah but can't i read the offer based on the words on the page and interpret it as me only needing to get AB to get in as I already have an A ?
