Is Trinity College Cambridge the best college for Mathematics in this world OR UK or Cambridge itself atleast??

I know that Trinity has produced most mathematicians in the History, compared to any other institutions...

In Cambridge, yes, in UK, yes, in the world, hmm. I'd imagine so, but I wouldn't be that surprise if maybe MIT held that position.

y are they so good??
Because they get the best applicants in the world. Because they can afford the best resources in the world. Because it's a household name for hardcore geekery.

If you want to get a 'taste of both worlds' as it were, Cambridge offer an exchange scheme with MIT for various subjects, including maths, in the 2nd year. I don't think it's too competitive and also MIT offer cross-registration for courses at (amongst others) Harvard.

Of course, the reason why Trinity is considered the best is the large number of brilliant mathematicians that are there, and the breadth of knowledge of the professors.

(FYI: info about the transfer can be found here : http://web.mit.edu/cmi/ue/cam-about.html )
