The Selly Oak Campus
What exactly is this campus for? On my visit to B'ham I was surprised how far away it is to the main Edgebaston campus.
Iv'e applied for catered halls and am worried that I may get put in Manor House, would be a nightmare if I did as all my lectures are going to be on the main campus.

i think its where mainly 2nd yr students live i think - on the accomodation form, write 'plz dont put me in manor house' in the extra comments box - u never know, they might take note!
It is a base for the smaller subjects, that don't necessarily need a building on the main campus. Also for things like adult learning etc. It's only about 2 miles away from the main campus, it's hardly an effort to get there if you need to. The 46 bus that stops outside tennis courts also stops smack bang in the middle of the selly oak campus.
Also, there are the 61-64 buses that go up and down bristol road about every 5 seconds...

so can you get the 46 bus to the selly oak library then? i have yet to venture out there yet through the fear of getting lost but i should really get off my bum and get out there for books and such!

Not exactly the best advert for B'ham uni there
I was at work.... work = quiet on sunday. Quiet work on sunday = me sit in the office playing games and being bored, instead of cleaning like i should be
There's only so much cleaning you can do in an 8 hour shift you know...
