Help on 3rd person storm description.

I am greatly seeking help from you all as I have to conjure up a description of a storm as if you were in 'God Mode' or as a 3rd person narrator. (Past please)

Could anyone give me some good descriptions of the whole event?

It was evening. A low pressure centre had developed with a system of high pressure surrounding it. This combination of opposing forces created winds that resulted in the formation of storm clouds. Winds measuring up to 11 on the Beaufort scale lashed the sorry hamlet of Stokingstoke. The storm lasted three hours and twelve dogs died.

why do you need help with this? there's not much anyone here can do, other than let you lift things that they've written. if you are writing in 'god mode,' that is to say using sort of a lyrical 'i,' then shipping forecast expressions might sound a bit odd.
