You should get a letter from UCAS but it's unusual for any university to send out their own rejection letters, save Oxbridge.

As far as I know no unis do. Think about how much paper it'd waste, and how much more the application process would have to cost!

why would you want one anyways?

Trust me it is misrable getting a letter, then a UCAS letter and then complete it with seeing it each time on track.

That is what happened with my Oxford application. It reminded me of the disappointment.

Good luck with the rest of your unies!

What's there to say really... "Sorry we are not able to offer you a place blaa blaa"
Seems like a waste of time and paper if you ask me

why would someone want to remeber a rejection for the rest of their life?

i don't think the letter thing is warwick's fault. i got an offer from essex on november 4th. track displays it. but i still didn't get a letter from ucas. i called them two months ago and they said they would resend it. it's mid-february now... and still nothing

also, for those living in continental europe, sometimes ucas sends its letters through malta! imagine how stupid it is since i am living in luxembourg, 8 hours away from london by car.
