ooh, what subject are you applying for which means an interview? and best of luck with it
i'm not sure if there'll be an interview or a portfolio required for photography. or if they'll need any samples of work for creative writing? i'm sort of confuzzled for now, hopefully it should sort out x
Primary Education. It is a government requirement to interview applicants for teaching courses! They may need to see a portfolio for Photography, but if they do, it should say on the website!
I've got an offer for Journalism & History -- anyone care to tell me some nice things about Roehampton unrelated to campus/area/etc? Anything about Journalism or History programs? I won't be living on campus or anywhere in the area at all.
I've heard the Journalism program is really good. But you should check the Roehampton Student Union forum, there are lots of current students posting. I won't be living anywhere near there either!
Hi, i have applied to Roehampton for 2007. Currently on a gap year. Had my interview for primary education last wednesday and waiting for their decision now!!! If i get an offer that is where i will go as ive already got all my A Level results so i dont have to worry about those!
I'm applying to do Primary Teaching too with English Specialism, I'm still waiting on my reference though! If you get in will either of you be staying on campus?
Yeh i would definately be living on campus! Im still waiting for the decision from my interview which was over 2 weeks ago! But if i am accepted (i already have my A Level grades) then id hope to live in accomodation at Frobel.
How does that work? I thought one of the requirements of entry was to pass a written English test which when I went for interview consisted of marking an A4 page of work, written by a year 6 child. We had to find spelling and grammer mistakes. In addition, we also had to write 250 words disscussing the relevance of our chosen subject specialism within the primary curriculum.

I am doing the same things, just supervised by my line manager at work here. I have held an offer before, which I was interviewed for the same way.
I see thats good! I phoned Roehampton today and good job i did! It turns out that they have got my details mixed up with someone else who is already there in their second year of primary education! How bizzare!!! They told me i have been given a conditional offer (subject to a satisfatory health and criminal records check). However, before they can put it on the ucas system they need to sort out the mess with the other students details!!!! I also gave them my ucas number and someone elses name came up!!! Im confused!!!! But happy ive got a place!!!
I accepted my unconditional from Goldsmiths. Plus, I am not 100% sure if I am moving at the moment, so I am sticking with my current degree, which I love.
