Weight loss/gain this fast normal?

Basically i put on weight very easily.i'm talking like in a day. same with losing i guess, but more so gaining.

If i eat really healthily, then I lose weight really quickly. But then if i eat less heathily but still heathily, i put it back on in a matter of a day or so. It's really frustrating me now, because it means i cant enjoy little treats without big consquences :|

I know someone will go on about calorie deficit, i know all that...im not interested in really losing weight but it seems i cant maintain a weight either. My question is, is it normal to be so susceptible to weight gain/loss?

yep. but does this 'eating really healthily' involve eating very little? it may explain why you put on weight suddenly after going back to normal eating.

ooh noo..i eat plenty, its just really healthy stuff, its how i eat normally..so i dont go back to eating a certain way, just a few treats occasionally.

well its still quite normal. it does probably fluctuate throughout the day though from water weight and what you have eaten recently. so if you weigh yourself everyday, make sure its at the same time and position so that its accurate, otherwise it may seem like its going up and down all the time when its not.

i dont weigh myself, its just from looking at myself, and actually seeing fat/how my clothes fit.
Reply 5
that probably partially explains it then..

umm how?

there's a big difference between one day having a flat stomach and trousers being loose, to the next day having a roll or two, and not being able to zip trousers up :|

mirrors can be very deceiving. the way you will see yourself in them varies because of things like lighting, if you have eaten recently, water weight, etc. its pretty inaccurate.

im not even talking about mirrors tho, im talking about looking down at myself, and actually not being able to fit into clothes i could the day before. how is that a trick of the light

it depends on many things, like how recently you ate. its very very unlikely that you actually put on a noticeable amount of fat to change your clothes size in one day from eating generally healthily.

Well i do...which is why im asking if its normal or not

Judging by your antecedent discourse, I think we've already ascertained 'no' as the answer to that particular question.

Visit a G.P.; I doubt any resolution you might obtain on TSR will be satisfactory in regards to such an acute dilemma.

 will do.
Your lucky in my opinion, I eat anything and everything, but never put on any weight.

I notice that I look different, but thats only because my stomache is either full or empty. I can look fairly big if I have just eaten loads, but if I havn't then it looks like I havn't eaten for days.

I eat nothing but crap, when I eat anything at all; my weight hasn't changed in three years.

Unfortunately excrement contains all the waste products of your food and drink - Your not going to gain any benefits from eating nothing but that.

i dont think the human body can convert food into fat quick enough so that u can go from a flat stomach to having rolls in 1 day. you must be exaggerating vastly

this is impossible...I notice that in aweek I might gain 1 kilo like 2 pounds and lose them in the same amout of time even though I don'teat more than I burn still it's a matter of water and also a matter of not eating at all for a week and then eating again

Are you bloating rather than gaining weight? That would make sense in terms of the stomach bulge and not being able to do trousers up.
