So perhaps the trick is not to drink in the first place? Alcohol shouldn't be required for a good night out - it seems to just lead to a lot of trouble from my point of view.

oh yeah it was completely stupid and had i been sober i wouldn't have done it. I'm afraid on the rare occasions that I'm drunk I don't have much common sense.
