Applying after January 15th!!

Hi I hope somebody can shed some light on a problem that I have?!

I want to start a degree course in Sept 2012, but unfortunately I will not have my application ready for the January 15th deadline. I have read the guidelines on the UCAS website and it seems that I can still apply up until the 30th of June. The only problem is that it states that Universities are not obliged to consider applications after Jan 15th!
Can anybody advise on experience of applying after the initial deadline, I'm worried that I will miss my chance to start this year!

Individual experiences will vary, there'll be people who got into their first choice and people who were unsuccessful. If you want to apply you have nothing to lose (except £21) by applying :smile:
