pill changing sex.

I apologise if this may seem a little graphic. Before going on the pill it took hardly anything to get me wet during foreplay but sometimes sex was not so enjoyable. Now on the combination pill, penetration is sometimes uncomfortable as i cant get so wet yet feel very excited but the sex is better. However i feel sore after-can anyone relate to this changing sex with the pill?

Yes it might very well be due to the pill. However, if that's the only side effect you're experiencing I'd suggest you buy some lube and get on with it!

everyone gets sore after sex.it's normal. just get some lube or spend more time on foreplay then you'll lubricated enough.

Dryness can be a side effect the pill, you could try using some lube or talk to the doctor about trying a different type of pill or the injection/implant/patch. It's a side effect that can come with any type of hormonal contraception, but if you keep trying then I'm sure you'll find one that's right for you.

Yes, that is a common side effect. How long have you been talking the pill? If its not very long, then things may return to normal after a while. Otherwise go back to the doctor and try chaning to a different type.

I've had a few problems with my pill which I talked over at the family planning clinic and they changed my pill...said it might be due to the progesterone levels, so gave me a different one with different levels. Talk things over with your GP and they should be able to help.
