My offers were

BSc Archaeological Science @York Unconditional
BA Archaeology @ Nottingham Unconditional (after interview)
BSc Archaeological Science @ Sheffield Unconditional (after interview)
BA Archaeology @ Newcastle-Upon-Tyne Unconditional
BSc Acrhaeology @ Durham Unconditional

It was a very close call between Sheffield and Durham but I accepted Durham as my wife's best offer for BSc Environmental science was at Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

I am interested in all the scientific techniques around and imbedded within Archaeology. In terms of my preference for periods it is a case of the older the better, so from the emergence of hominids but not as far back as Hominines. So for me it is Paleolithic/Mesolithic (globally). Neolithic (Globally), and pre-Roman Britain. Once we reach the Roman period and more recent times my interest mellows, relatively. I am interested in lithics and ecofacts, and I am interested in certain aspects such as Hominid expansion around the globe, stone industry development and propogation, and the relationship between agriculture and geographic concentration of the gene pool. Anything really that relates to the state at a given time and development of the minds we have now inhereted.

All the best and good luck with your choice making, its not always as easy you think it will be when you first choose the 5

I'm also interested in Osteoarchaeology and in Paleoanthropology - after my degree I would love to specialise in something related to the process of human evolution - really in love with that right now.
But in case that is not possible, I do find the Mesolithic, Chalcolithic and Neolithic periods very interesting.

I only applied to Bristol for BA Archaeology as it's where I wanted to go and it's the only place nearby that does Archaeology  I accepted my offer today

I'm interested the most in the Inca Empire and the Celtic era.

Congratulations on your offer.

I visited an excellent Incan artifact exhibition a couple of years back. It was in Budapest, I happened to be there when I saw it advertised.
The most important thing you'll ever learn is the Archaeology Dance

Bsc Archaeological Science at Sheffield (unconditional after interview)
BA Archaeology at Cardiff (unconditional, but I might switch it to a bsc)
BA Archaeology at Bristol (unconditional)
BA at Winchester (unconditional)

I'm stuck deciding between the first 3! I'm leaning towards Sheffiled becasue I've heard so many great things about the course and department. I'm not sold on the city though. when I went for a campus tour I felt a bit dead.

I'm most interested in forensic archaeology/anthropology. I'm hoping to go on and get a masters in this.
