to cut a (very) long story short...

Im was going to go to this bar tonight with loads of people, and its got a valentines theme to it, all my friends are going blah blah blah. ANYWAY im kind of broken up with my best friend, and all the girls going are complete wanky hoes, so im not going. BUT this guy who likes me (asked me out a while ago i said not sure) is there, and i know he'll expect me to be there (hes asked people if im going).
He'll think im not going to ignore him (he organised it), but im not. I havent spoken to him for a while, after i said i wasnt sure about going out, but that doesnt mean i dont like him. Things are abit up in the air.

SO to send (a valentines day text) or not to send that is the question.

I dont want to get his hopes up but i want him to know that i do still know he exists.

If you don't wanna get his hopes up, don't send anything - that's not particularly nice...

I would text him and apologise for your lack of appearance tonight if you feel the need.... i wouldn't go as far as sending the valentines text tomorrow as that really is leading him down the wrong path if you are unsure of what you want, but a text today would show him that he is in your thoughts and that you havent forgotten him?
