If you spoke to a guy on msn for 6 hours non stop (I know...a stupid amount of time:redface: ) until the early hours of the morning, and he was quite flirty, would you say he was slightly interested in you? Or just a very very bored person?

I suppose he could have gone to sleep if he'd wanted to...:-S

probably very very bored and very sexually frustrated.

i agree, he must be very bored to chat for 6 hours, and he is using you as his source of comfort to perhaps entertain his sexual fantasies.
I suppose these guys are right in a way, though you've got to look at it from the other perspective: he may have been really eager to stay up and chat to you, and like you said, he could have gone to bed - but he choose not to. But for what reasons I'm unsure. Where did you two meet?

It depends... I've spoken to girls for a long time on MSN who were just friends and there is nothing between us, except friendship.

But you said he was kinda flirting, so I think he likes you.

I'm feeling nice so I'll edit.

hmmmm depends, he could be interested in you, but MSN doesn't always translate well into real life. Even if you do hit it off on MSN theres still a barrier to break in real life. Do you know this guy or is he just an ugly 50 year old with too much time on his hands?
Do you know this guy in real life or just on MSN? I once had a situation where I used to talk to a guy I met online for hours and hours. We just clicked. He said he really liked me and was considering splitting up with his girlfriend because of it, but when we met in real life, the spark just wasn't there and so we agreed to just be friends.

Ditto. We spoke to each other until about 4am for three straight days and then realised we had to meet. But fortunately for us there was a spark.

To the OP: yeah, it sounds like he likes you. But remember that liking someone as they seem online is different to clicking with them in real life.
Well I used to talk to this guy for about 5 hours at a time, non-stop talking and we got on great. He's in my form class too, but we never spoke much in person although i had fancied him for ages. But when I thought he was being flirty and liked me, he was actually seeing my best friend in one of those groovy "secret relationships".
I dunno, I think when you manage to talk to somebody for that length of time it must mean that there is a certain level of attraction, even if it is only lust at that stage.
