Does anyone have any experience of trying to get a doctor to refer them to a pschychiatrist? I think I have some problems which could only be diagnosed by a pschyiatrist.

yes. just go the doctor, explain briefly and they'll refer you.

I think some psychiatry could only help. Or psychiatric help, whatever its called. I went to the doctor's before though and he arranged some counselling which isnt the same as psychiatry. I would like some but its not really necessary.
