There is no quick fix to get what you want with your body. It will probably take years of training, combined with good diet and making sure your body fat % is low to get anywhere close to these people!

I really dont want arms like the above person. I just want regular large sized arms like the person I posted a picture of on the first page. Surely that wont be THAT hard to do? :frown:

not if you do things right. just don't think there is a quick fix for it, as said above. it takes hard work. what sort of shape are you in currently?

As we are on the topic of weight lifting etc.

I do need some advice. I go to the gym twice a week, i do about 40 mins CV exercise ie. running, rowing machine and about 15-20 mins of weight training. I mainly work on the biscep machine, and pectoral machine, occasionally the back machine as well, which works the biceps also.

I also have a can on tuna after each workout. I do this routine about twice a week. I am just wondering, whether this is enough to be able to see an effect or my chest and arm muscles?

Or whether I would need to spend longer on the chest and arm exercises..

My arm size is virtually the same as yours at the minute. My biceps are clearly visible but I have almost no triceps and my forearms are moderately large. The forearms arent that big because I havent done any forearms specific exercises.

For chest and upper body go on a benchpress machine and do about 55kg in reps of 20, then switch to something else. You'll definitely need more chest exercises,

man you guys all suck for just doing biceps and bench. Its the same at my gym, anorexic guys wearing lifting gloves doing cheat curls with 8kg DBs, then going to some gay machine that approximates a bench press and doing 1/4 reps for sets of 10. I was the same in the begining, I admit. You need to ****ing train real lifts dudes. someone probably already told you this but check out www.bodybuilding.com read the forums and articles

I dont want to be as huge as those guys, and I definitely train correctly. I really want that bulky effect though.

if bis gets bodybuilder helper (though weightlifter pt would be better)... then that sucks. I want it! grr, markus i told you loads that 8 reps is the usual along with 3 sets.
