contraceptive question

hey, i'm going on holiday in the summer and am thinking about going on the contraceptive patch before then, just wondering if you can have a break from it because i dont really want to have to wear it on holiday and definitely won't be having sex. also, can you wear the patch if you are taking norethisterone to delay your period? thanks

yeh you ca take a break if you're absolutely certain you wwon't be having sex. i did when i went abroad last summer as well. i don't know about the second part of your question though sorry

I'm not sure why you'd want to take something to delay your period if you're using the patch, considering that pretty much controls your period. Why don't you just take the norethisterone if you just want to make sure you're not on your period when you're away?
