I wish I was gay so I could get chicks.

Ha, nice observation.

No, I wouldn't have a one night stand with a man. I guess my opinion is biased seeing as I wouldn't have a one night stand with a woman either?

Um, no? I wouldn't want to spend the next day/week/month/who knows how long walking like a penguin, not to mention those trivial things that would make feel nasty too.

Well gay guys just seem to enjoy life more and to deal with relationships better. Then again, I might be talking ********.

Even if I wanted to become gay, I wouldn't know where to start. I can't tell the difference between a good-looking guy and a not-so-good-looking guy. Sure when a guy looks monstrous, it's obvious but in all other cases, I don't understand how girls manage to define good looks.

I wouldn't mind The Queer Eye For A Straight Guy team helping me, the US team not those UK fakers.

Don't confuse the friend (the nice, charming gay) of a girl, and the guy (the straight bad guy) banging her.

On the topic: no, I wouldn't. I wouldn't mind being a girl and making out with another girl though...
No way. I'm not being anti-gay or anything but I just shiver when I think of having sex with a guy.

Can you just decide to become gay?

I'd never get into bed with another man, the most i'd do is sleep on the same park bench as a friend when drunk, but i draw the line there.

A shiver? Maybe some repressed homosexual feelings?

I meant if I chose to "go gay" as the OP so nicely put it.

I find certain other guys attractive, but would certainly not engage in any sexual activity with them.
i would give it but not receive

A shiver of disgust.

Nice graphic imagery there

As if giving it is any less gay...

Man, there are a few repressed homosexuals lurking around here.

Hey, I'm open to try most things once.
But I dont think I'd want to.

a shiver upon thinking about oneself participating in homosexual activities is nothing wrong and should not be confused with either homophobia nor repressed homosexual feelings. It's just part of a deeply rooted genetical mechanism that makes us feel attraction to some people, and some not. (among non-homosexual men, I wish not to further elaborate on genetics and homosexuality, as it would probably only lead to a discussion that leads nowhere).

Who said it was anything wrong? I remember reading about a psychologist claiming that at least 10% of males had clear homosexual tendencies. The way they express those tendencies is another matter.

Having had to share communal showers with guys all through high school and considering the behaviour of some, I'd even say that that figure is higher.

Fair enough, the word "wrong" was misplaced. That referred to the "homophobic" part, and shouldn't have been confused with the "repressed homosexuality", which referred to your quote. My bad!

Anyway, define "homosexual tendency"? What qualifies? I'm absolutely 100% certain that some 99,999% of men have shown what could be considered "homosexual tendencies". ( But I really don't think that says anything about the spread of homosexuality. )

A gay guy would say a similar thing, they can see the difference between women, but they would just know whether a guy looks good or not.
