eggy burps

Obviously an upset stomach, but no diarrhoea or pain! I feel ever so slightly sick if anything (though, I don't think I will be sick). My stomach is bloated too.

Is there anything I can take? Will Andrews salts do the job? I'm just sick of the burping. It tastes/smells disgusting.

Eat lots of bread?

Or just try the salts, what's the worst that can happen?

A friend of mine gets this and knows he will wake up in the middle of that night and throw up. He feels fine, but burps like that and knows he'll be up that night, throw up, and fine in the morning.
Just a possible heads up!

heh, I used to call 'eggy burps' chicken petrol when I was three  yes I was a odd kid (as you can tell :p: )

Be warned. I read somewhere that those 'eggy' burps often results in sick exploding from no where when you least expect it. Don't drink water because it doesn't get rid of the eggy smell. Drink something fizzy and get a bag ready.

I've had it before and I've never been sick with it. It's usually acommpanied by diarrhoea. I need the loo, so I'll post again in 5 - 10 minutes.

Its nothing to worry about, just a bit of hydrogen sulphide buildup, a product of harmful bacteria you may have ingested. It doesnt by any means mean youll be sick. Just sleep, you'll be fine in the morning as the stomach acid will kill it
