You know what would be a bummer? If we didn't actually make the grades... then looking back at this thread would be heart-breaking. :frown:

Not being arrogant, but ABB not the hardest thing in the world to manage, i'm pretty confident I'll be going to Nottingham in sep!

True, I did pretty good on my AS's but for some reason think that i'm probably going to mess up on my A-Levels.

On another note, anyone thinking of earning a little money on the side when getting to nottingham? Someone should really sell security stuff in Notts Uni, after all, Nottingham has the USP.

do you think they would let me in if i got AAC?
and has anyone applied for jubilee accommodation or am i going to be completely alone next year?

Lol I like you thinking Multiplexed, we could start our own safety escort service around Nottingham centre of sell unique alarm systems to the students! lol.
Jellybaby - I havnt applied for Jubilee, I went for main park, but I'm sure you will not be alone! I felt that uni park would give me a more balanced uni life than Jubilee, but Jub will still be awesome!!!

If people post like-

Name: Raa
Course: Management/ Management with ...
Accommodation Choice: UP/jubilee/broadgate/raleigh park
Other details: (eg email adresses if they want ppl to add them etc)

I'll make a list and keep it all in one post then keep updating it so it's clearer to see who's going! Merci xx :p:

Threads set out like that though can get very boring and sameisH (sp), no off jen, I know you are just trying to keep it organized etc. I think we should just have random, general chat about Notts and Management etc and have people just pipe in saying what they are studying etc. Keep it 'informal' so to speak lol. I mean it is my thread after all...
no one answered my AAC question!
so has anyone studied business before? when i was on the open day thingy the guy giving us a tour said the first term was like studying 7 a levels at once! how crazy is that

7 A-Levels? Did the guy look like a stoner or something?

I'm doing Business & Economics and i've heard that there are Economic modules, so i'll be happy with that.

I think with your AAC dilema they probably would let you in because in actual fact it does add up to more UCAS points so actually better grades than ABB lol. You could perhaps ring up and ask them, it won't affect your application.
7 A-levels at once, but its in a subject which you obviously like as have chosen to do it at uni and are good at it/have the potential to be good at it so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. It will also be a constant party aswell!!!
Now you come to mention it he kinda did look like a stoner!

i didn't mean that's all the thread would contain...random chat is good..just thought it'd be easy to have a list of people, rather than being jumbled up, as well as general convo. i didn't realise people 'own' threads tho..sorry.

I think I remember from the Visit Day, it was ABB rather than its equivelents in UCAS points.

I'm working hard to make sure I get to Notts, it just looks really awesome!

I'm Jubilee 1st
