The Impact of WW1 on the Conservative Party

Hi,
I have some homework, and I have done something on all the questions below, but have hardly got anything, so was needing some inspiration/hints. What I have so far is in bold.

1. How did the Conservative Party increase in power from 1910-1914?
I have that they gained support over the Irish question and suffragettes, destroyed the Liberal majority in the HoC by 1910
2. Reasons why the Conservatives increased in power (unsure whether this means up to 1918 or 1914, I presumed 1914)
I have got they capitalised on Liberal crises, and exploited the weakness of the Liberals
3. How far were they stronger by 1914?
Were stronger: On equal terms with Liberals -> equal votes in 1910 election, gained support over crises affecting Liberals.
Weren't stronger: Liberals still in power, althougb WW1 meant 1914 election not carried out

4. How did the war increase their power?
Shared power with Liberals in coalition government, could have more say in how to deal with issues/problems. After split between LG and Asquite, LG formed government with Cons --> went on to have majority in 1918 election. People looked to Conservatives in war time - patriotism
