it shouldn't be a problem for her to ring up and get the date changed, they're quite good with things like that as they know people are likely to have more than one interview.

well, we went down, my other half had what was a five minute interview (mature student), where the admissions officer was bored out of his pants, she did her best to engage with him, and he wasnt interested...

Well, she must have done something right because she got an offer yesterday of 200 points from the two a levels she is doing, so really a B B, or an A C, whichever way you look at it.

Considering standard offer is AAA to AAB, she did good.....

Unfortunately, she has been put off the place now due to his attitude, and strangely, by the fact that Exeter has no sign posts to the University until you are right on it......
Thank god for TomTom....

Thats a shame about your wife's experience with the admissions person. Was his name Brian Young by any chance? Thats the guy that was at the admissions day I went to.
I got lost trying to find Exeter Uni too! I walked towards Exeter college before I realised it wasn't the Uni! I wasn't as impressed by Exeter as I was by Sussex, which I was suprised about. Sussex seemed to put much more enthusiasm in to it, Exeter seemed much more laid back...good luck with the other choices hope your wife finds the right one!

that's him, Brian Young...

She said the place (the building itself, not the campus) was tatty, and to be frank, he couldnt care less, put her right off, which is a shame, having got such a fantastic offer.

We drove from Cumbria to Exeter, just for that interview, he barely asked her a couple of questions.
